ASTM B111 C71500 tube is a seamless Copper Nickel Alloy Tube of standard specifications for Water Desalting Plants. C70600 and C71500 alloys, however, are readily welded by the most common methods. Consumables of the alloy B111 C71500 materials should be used to weld both alloys.

UNS SB 111 C71500 copper-nickel (cupronickel) alloy has medium-high strength and good creep resistance at high temperatures.
